Tree of Life Art Quilt
This art quilt tells a story about life and love. The main forms on the quilt, the tree,
the bird and the hearts, are made from recycled Kantha fabrics that I buy online in
bags of scraps from India and Nepal. These layered fabrics give the quilt lots of
dimension and texture. The hearts are embellished with conversation beds that
make a statement about our lives and loves.

Requirements:
● Sewing machine with assortment of threads, be sure to bring black thread for outlining some
of the applique. Plus a fully wound bobbin and fresh needle size 14.
● Scissors and pins
● Rotary cutter and ruler
● Needle for hand sewing.
● Blue marker and standard pencil
● Glue Stick
