This class is designed for those of you who have some experience of free motion quilting.

You will  learn :-

1)      New quilting patterns. Straight  and curved lined.

2)      How to make those patterns more interesting by varying the size and orientation within that pattern.

3)      How to mix two or three patterns together to fill a given space.

4)      How to take a drawing eg turtle, dolphin, sea horse and turn it into a simple  pattern, and how to use it to produce stunning Dazzling Doodles for use on quilts, bags, or pictures etc

Supply list for the class

1)      Your sewing machine, with free motion foot and extension table if you have one.

2)      Two sandwiches, each made with black fabric. ( Two, 1 yard pieces)  Place a 22”x36” piece of batting, low loft cotton, such as warm and natural, between each folded 1 yard of  fabric and lightly  spray baste in place.

3)      Cotton thread, and two bobbins of the same thread .Use a color that stands out on black fabrics.

4)      At least three different embroidery weight rayon threads with bobbins to match. Try to include variegated threads. (threads that change colors).

5)      Thread snips, pins, paper scissors and any marking pencils you have.
