Join us for a quilting class in our saftey-conscious Make and Take format. We'll be making the popular Town Square quilt (generous throw size) in your choice of fabrics. You'll attend two 90 minute sessions (August 4 and 11), and with some homework in between you'll have a finished quilt top. Cost for the two classes is $10.00 (plus cost of materials). This is a great class for beginners -- we'll learn and practice lots of basic quilting skills along the way. Want to make it an even sweeter deal? Participants in this Make and Take will be eligible for a special discount on having your project quilted by our in-house quilting service, Ohana Quilt Works. The cost for an edge to edge pantograph on your quilt will be just $42.00 (does not include backing, batting, or binding).
Please bring your sewing machine, rotary cutter and ruler, and basic sewing supplies such as pins, seam ripper, scissors, etc. This pattern calls for one yard each of three different fabrics -- we have put together several possibilities but if you have fabrics at home that you would like to bring and use, that's fine! There should be one focus fabric and two coordinating fabrics (one light and one dark).
