Please join us for this much-requested class featuring Marcia's take on the Wool & Wax tote by Noodlehead Designs. You'll have your choice of fabrics and learn several techniques for completing this great tote. Great for a gift or for yourself!
Fabric
Exterior Fabric 3⁄4 yard
If you are using a large scale print and would
like to match the print on the front of the bag
you will need 1⁄4 to 5⁄8 of a yard more fabric.
Lining Fabric (non-directional) 1 yard
Contrast Bottom Fabric 1⁄2 yard
Fusible Woven Interfacing 2 1⁄2 yards
(Pellon SF101 - 20” wide)
(2) 1” wide leather handles or cotton webbing, 28” long
I will supply a 1⁄2 inch swivel hook and rivets for class.
Recommended Fabrics:
Cork, canvas, or waxed canvas for bottom.
Cotton or blended canvas, denim, wool, twill, home dec, for exterior.
Lightweight canvas, batik, or quilting cotton for lining.

Sewing Machine
Thread to match your fabrics for topstitching
Pins or clips (clips are nice for heavier fabrics)
Small fabric scissors
Water soluble or disappearing marker
Ruler
Rotary cutter
Turning tool
Size 14 or 16 denim needle
