The Pineapple

Ever wonder how all those perfect points come together in those beautiful Judy Niemeyer patterns?  Join us in making this super cute Judy Niemeyer Wall Hanging and find out!

This is the perfect sized project to start your paper piecing journey, big enough to showcase your skills, but small enough to make in a reasonable amount of time.

This is a two-for-one class, as you will also learn how to navigate Quiltster, the website platform used to design and color all your Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx patterns.

The first day your will bring your laptops or iPads where you will design and color your project. We will then kit your projects right there in the shop, using the fabrics of your choice.  We will also cut out the patterns and be ready for the second day, when we will cut your fabrics out and learn how to organize your project. A demo of the actual paper piecing process will follow, with enough time for one-on-one instruction.  The two week break between the two, 2-day sessions will give you time to paper piece the sections.  The third day will be a demonstration on how to do curves and we will begin the assembly process.  The fourth day will be spent finishing your assembly.
