Kumihimo with Veryl Grace
Want a new portable craft that will go with you anywhere? Come join us to learn Kumihimo, the ancient Japanese art of braiding. Traditionally done on a marudai and used to hold Samurai armor together, it has become a favorite way to create beautiful jewelry and decorative pieces of all kinds using modern portable tools. During this class, you will use Kongo Gumi, one of Kumihimo’s foundation braids, to create a beautiful beaded necklace and bracelet. When you leave class you will have not only your jewelry pieces but your own Kumihimo Braiding Tool Kit to take home.
