Colorful Tropics

Colorful Tropics is a sampler of blocks in a glorious array of colors.  Over 50 pages of instructions using a variety of techniques: piecing, paper piecing and applique.  Fusible applique directions are given but the applique can easily be done in ANY method that you prefer.  The quilt measures 76 1/2" x 89 1/2".  There are instructions included for an alternative block for the applique. The pattern was written to be used as a block of the month.  Alll the fabrics used in the pictured quilt are from Island Batik.  Advanced Beginner.
