The Lookout by Jill McCloy

The Lookout was developed from two photographs Jill took while on a teaching visit to the Big Island of Hawaii.  One is of the Hamakua coast the other of her friend looking out to sea.  This quilt pattern will help develop your landscape quilting skills with turned and bonded applique techniques and free motion embellishment.  The beautiful hibiscus is dimensional as are the two lei and the sarong adding nice depth and further interest to the piece.  The finished quilt measures 22" square.
