Beginning Quilting
Class Description:
Join us for Beginning Quilting, a fun and hands-on class designed for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills. This class will guide you through the basics of quilting and set you up for success on your next project!
In this class, you'll learn essential quilting techniques, including:
• How to choose and prepare fabric
• Basic cutting and piecing methods
• Introduction to rotary cutting
• Simple quilt block patterns
• How to assemble and press quilt pieces
• Tips for quilting the top and finishing your quilt
Required Supplies:
• A basic sewing machine, knowledge of your sewing machine, machine manual, and basic sewing supplies
• Rotary cutter, cutting mat, and quilting ruler (available in-store)
Our expert instructor will provide personalized guidance and show you how to create a beautiful, functional quilt from start to finish. By the end of the class, you’ll have a completed quilt top and the skills to finish future projects on your own.
