Heat Set and Free Edge Technique (Flying Feathers) with Grace Errea

Skill Level: All Levels

Description: In this class you will learn a "collage with templates" technique which is totally new. You will use nothing else once you try it. It is easy, foolproof, and the results are always amazing. It produces a no-fray raw edge applique. In this bird class you will learn two (2) new techniques.  First, the “Heat-Set” which will be used for most of the shapes in this bird.

In addition you will also learn Grace’s “FREE EDGE” technique that will/can be used on the feathers to create realistic feathers that are unattached and “free” giving them free flowing, real bird appearance.

Grace will demonstrate and you will practice on a small bird. The pattern is a generic, updatable so you can actually make your own favorite bird in any color. So come learn and practice this technique with the inventor, developer, and teacher of this amazing new revolutionary applique technique.
