Yorkshire Teacup Pincushion with Hanne Lohde (MV)

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make pretty Yorkshire buttons? Here
is an opportunity to learn the technique. Small Yorkshire Buttons are great
to use for embellishment. Large Yorkshire Buttons are fun to make into a
very personal pincushion in a mini tea cup or clay pot.
Supply list (available for purchase in class):
Kit set comes in two size ranges.
Small Thread Wheels (20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90mm), price $ 35.00
Big Thread Wheels (100, 110, 120, 130mm), price $35.00
What to bring to class:
? Piecemakers Calico Braided Rug Needles (can be purchased from
teacher)
? Teacup or clay pot of your choice, max 3” in diameter (if you choose
to make a teacup pincushion).
? Scissors and a variation of embroidery threads, like pearl cotton size
3, 5 or 8. DMC yarn can be used but is harder to learn with. Leftover
bits and pieces from old projects are okay but I really like to use the
Eleganza thread size 5 and I will bring a variety of these to class for purchase too.
