Tuffet Class with Patti D. (MV)

Join Patti D for a fun and creative class where you’ll craft your very own custom heirloom-quality Tuffet! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and build a stunning piece of furniture that can be passed down through generations.

We can’t wait to help you create a piece that will become a cherished part of your home!

Cost: $90 + $20 for fusible foundation payable to instructor + Tuffet kit ($190)

Required supplies:

Fabrics- 3 Options

OPTION #1

One (1) jelly roll and (1) fat quarter for button and bottom of tuffet

OPTION #2

Sixty-four (64) 2 1/2" x 21" strips and (1) fat quarter for button and bottom of tuffet

OPTION #3

3/4 yard (non-directional) main fabric (if directional, 1 yard)
1/2 yard (non-directional) secondary fabric (if directional, 3/4 yard)
Two (2) 1/3 yards each (non-directional) accent fabrics If directional, 1/2 yard
And (1) Fat Quarter for button and bottom of tuffet

1 1/4 yards of muslin (needed for all options)

Required notions:

One (1) Tuffet Kit (includes base, hardware, foam, batting, cording, button and feet)
One (1) Fusible Foundation ($20–for purchase from instructor)
One (1) Add-A-Quarter Inch Ruler (12")
Sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch
Thread
Straight pins
Sharp rotary cutter
Ruler
