Class Description:

 Expand your creative process! If you are not quite ready for freeform improvisational piecing, this class is for you! Using a simple improv-style log cabin quilt block you will make this contemporary lap quilt or wall hanging .  It’s easy, creative, and so much fun! - definitely beginner-friendly - and perfect for using up your fabric scraps!

 

Supplies:

Fabric: 

(12-14) Solid Batik Fat Quarters or ¼ yard cuts. 

    Be sure to pick light, med and darks values!

 Neutral thread to match your fabrics 

Rotary Cutter

6x12 ruler 

Large square ruler for squaring up blocks

Best Press or Terial Magic

 
For this class you will need a sewing machine (working knowledge of your machine, extra bobbins, needles, manual), basic quilting supplies (rotary cutter, ruler, mat) and basic sewing supplies (scissors, thread, seam ripper, etc.)
