Sun, Sand and Sea Turtles with Pam DiSalvo (MV)

Sun, Sand and Sea Turtles
A Quilt Passions Exclusive
Class Date and Time:
October 18th, 19th and November 15th, 10:00-4:30
Class Description:
Sun, Sand and Sea Turtles is a Judy Niemeyer Quiltworx pattern, designed by Certified Instructor, Pam DiSalvo, exclusively for the Quilt Passions Quilt Shop. While this quilt can be designed in any color way, the sample quilt was designed using Quilt Passions very own sea turtle fabric which can only be found at the Quilt Passions Quilt Shop.
This is a two-for-one class, as you will also learn how to navigate Quiltster, the website platform used to design and color all your Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx patterns. One of the unique benefits of Quiltster is the ability to take a photo of a fabric you wish to use in your design, then upload the photo into the website so you can then incorporate it into your design.
The first day of class, you will bring your laptops or iPads where you will design and color your project. We will then kit your projects right there in the shop, using the fabrics of your choice. We will also cut out the patterns and be ready for the second day, where we will cut out your fabrics and learn how to organize your project.
A demo of the actual paper piecing process will follow, with enough time for one-on-one instruction. The break between the 2-day class and the final class three weeks later will give you time to paper piece the sections together. The third day, you will bring your finished paper pieced sections to class so we can start the final assembly of your quilts.
Class Fee:
$150 for three day of instruction, including tutorial on how to use Quiltster. (There is a one-time fee of $9.99 to access the Quiltster website used for designing your project. This fee is for one full month so you can color and design as many Judy Niemeyer Quiltworx patterns as you like during your month subscription.)
